Project 18 month Management Board meeting
The MusselsAlive 18 month Technical and Management Board meeting was hosted by IPIMAR and held at the location of IPIMAR in Lisbon, Portugal in the beginning of December 2011.
The first meeting day started with a technical meeting and workshops focusing on planning upcoming RTD work. In the afternoon the attendees had a field trip to two shellfish storage and depuration facilities in Setúbal, namely Martroia Mariscos and Mariscos Barrossinho. The visits were of special interest regarding the project work packages 3 and 4, respectively, Holding and conditioning and Transportation. The second meeting day covered presentation of RTD results, discussions of how to best use and obtain best possible knowledge, IPR questions, financial and management issues as well as project and mussel promotion.
